Early Life and Education

Douglas Santos Sampaio was born on 24 February 1993 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He grew up in the Vila da Penha neighbourhood of Rio. He began participating in children’s theatre at approximately age 10 and by age 12 committed to pursuing acting. He formed part of a band called D’Trix in his youth, where he served as vocalist and guitarist and the band released an independent CD in 2010.

Personal Life

Douglas is father to a son named Bernardo, born 26 September 2010. In 2016 he became engaged to model/actress Rayanne Morais during a television programme, but the couple separated later that year.
