Early Life and Education

Mathías Brivio Maraví was born on 12 April 1976 in Lima, Peru, into a middle-class Limeño family. His mother, Rossana Maraví, raised him and his younger sister Francesca largely on her own after separating from his father.

He grew up in the Surco and Miraflores districts and completed his secondary education at Colegio Santa María Marianistas. Brivio studied Communications at the Universidad de San Martín de Porres, graduating in 2000.
