Niuma Mohamed was born on 20 October 1977 in Vaadhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, Maldives, and is now 48 years old. She was raised in Malé after relocating from her birthplace. Coming from a family of six children, she was the youngest sibling.

She completed eight years of standard education at Maafannu Madharusa but did not pursue further formal schooling, instead entering the workforce at a young age before being discovered by a television producer.

Niuma’s personal life has included several relationships and marriages. Her first marriage occurred in 2002 to Ibrahim Habeeb, which ended in divorce. Career

Niuma began her acting career in 1994 with the television drama series Hithi Thajuribaa.
