Early Life and Education

Onur Saylak was born on May 12 , 1977, in Ankara. While details about his parents and any siblings remain undisclosed, it is known that he was raised partly in Kuşadası before moving for higher education.

He studied Physics at Middle East Technical University and later briefly enrolled in Public Administration at Ankara University’s Faculty of Political Sciences. Eventually, he pursued acting full-time, joining the theatre department at Bilkent University after passing its entrance exam.

Onur Saylak’s early career included roles in Turkish television series such as Hatırla Gönül (2005–2007) and Vatanım Sensin (2016–2018). His 2008 performance in Sonbahar (Autumn) earned him the Best Actor award at the 2nd Yeşilçam Awards and the SİYAD Award for Best Actor.
