Early Life And Education

Shatrughan Sinha was born on December 9, 1945, in Patna, Bihar, then part of British India.

His father, Bhubaneswari Prasad Sinha, and his mother, Shyama Devi Sinha, raised him. He is the youngest of four brothers, with Ram, Lakshman, and Bharat being his siblings.

Sinha completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Patna Science College and earned a Diploma in Acting from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. He is of Bihari ethnicity and practices Hinduism.

Career

Shatrughan Sinha began his acting career in the 1960s, quickly becoming renowned for his distinct style of dialogue delivery, which earned him the nickname “Shotgun.”

He went on to star in over 70 films, often sharing the screen with legendary actors such as Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan.
