Early Life and education

Sudeep Sanjeev best known as Kiccha Sudeep is now 53 years old; he was born on 2 September 1971 in Shimoga, Karnataka, to Sanjeev Manjappa and Saroja.

The family migrated from Narasimharajapura in Chikmagalur district to Shimoga. During college, he represented Karnataka in under-17 and under-19 cricket, before earning a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore.

Later, he attended the Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai.

Kiccha Sudeep married Priya Radhakrishna in 2001; she previously worked in an airline company and a bank and later supported their business ventures.

The couple welcomed a daughter, Saanvi, in 2004. In 2015, they experienced a separation but later reconciled.

Career

Kiccha Sudeep’s acting debut occurred with a supporting role in Thayavva (1997), followed by Prathyartha (1999), before his breakthrough with Sparsha (2000).

His starring role in Huchcha (2001) established him as a leading actor and earned him the nickname Kiccha Sudeep. He went on to deliver successful films such as Nandhi (2002), Kiccha (2003), Swathi Muthu (2003), My Autograph (2006), No 73, Shanthi Nivasa (2007), Mussanjemaatu (2008).
