Aneri Vajani was born on March 26, 1994, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to Devesh Vajani and Urmila Vajani in an upper-middle-class Gujarati family. Growing up with her twin sister, Priya, and younger brother, Rohan, she was drawn to acting from childhood, inspired by television serials.

She actively participated in school competitions, once judged by Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan. Aneri Vajani debuted in 2012 as Paakhi in Kaali – Ek Punar Avatar on Star Plus, a drama based on the Nitish Katara murder case. She gained prominence as Nisha Gangwal in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins (2014-2015), earning the Star Parivaar Award for Favourite Beti and an Indian Telly Award nomination for Fresh New Face.
