On September 6, 2023 it was revealed that the couple’s marriage had ended more than a year earlier. In 2007 she underwent treatment for lymphoma of the lymphatic system.

Career

Daniela Bascopé began performing with the theatre group Acto Anónimo before making her television debut at age 15 in Samantha. She continued acting in Venezuelan telenovelas including Toda mujer, La soberana, Engañada, Ciudad Bendita and La vida entera.

After her health challenge, she returned to a starring role in Harina de otro costal (2010) and later in El árbol de Gabriel (2011-12) and Las Bandidas (2013) in major roles.

In addition to television, she has acted in films such as De repente, la película (2011) and Al borde de la línea (2007) among others. As a musician, she released the album Ven (2011) and Tango Remedio (2013). She is also the author of the book Vence y Vivir recounting her struggle with cancer.
