Over roughly ten years, he has choreographed more than 250 songs across nearly 100 films, especially in Kannada cinema, as well as in Telugu and some Bollywood productions.

He began his career under the mentorship of Jai Borade and also worked as an assistant choreographer to Ganesh Hegde for two years.

He founded the dance institution Dinky’s Dance and Music Academy (DDMA) in Bangalore, named after his daughter’s nickname “Dinky”.

He made his directorial debut with Endendigu in 2015, featuring Ajay Rao and Radhika Pandit. He followed that with Uppu Huli Khara in 2017, which he also wrote.
