She was raised in Lagonegro, a town in the province of Potenza, together with her older brother Filippo (born 1995), under the care of her parents Giuseppe “Pino” Mango, a celebrated singer‑songwriter, and Laura Valente, former vocalist of the band Matia Bazar.
