Fernando Zor is now 41 years old and was born on April 21, 1984, in Ji-Paraná, in the northern Brazilian state of Rondônia. He grew up in a family that included his parents, Filomena Zorzanello and Sérgio Bonifácio, and his siblings Tatiana and Sidnei.

Later, in March 2019 he began dating Brazilian singer Maiara, from the duo Maiara & Maraisa. In February 2021, Fernando proposed to Maiara via a skydiving stunt in Dubai, but the engagement did not last; they eventually parted ways.

Career

Fernando Zor’s musical journey began locally in Rondônia and later in Mato Grosso, where he joined bands and formed early duos, such as “Os Meninos de Rondônia” (where he sang second voice) and a duo Rodrigo Caipira & Fernando Zor. In 2007, Sorocaba contacted him via the social network Orkut, and they decided to form the duo Fernando & Sorocaba.

Their career breakthrough came with the 2008 live CD/DVD Bala de Prata, which gained them wide recognition across Brazil.

Over time, their work has included multiple live and studio albums, DVDs, EPs, and numerous singles. They mix traditional sertanejo elements with modern production, and Fernando contributes as composer, instrumentalist, and producer.
