Fiuk’s musical path began in bands. He was first part of a group called No Name, and later helped form the Brazilian pop rock group Hori in 2004. With Hori, Fiuk and his bandmates recorded the independent EP Mentes Inquietas, which featured five tracks, and built a regional fanbase.

Hori underwent lineup changes, and in 2009 the band signed with Warner Music Brasil. In that same year, Fiuk auditioned for Malhação ID, landing the lead role of Bernardo Oliveira. The band’s song “Quem Eu Sou” was selected as the opening theme for the season.

As Hori progressed, singles like “Segredo” and “Só Você” gained attention. In early 2011, Fiuk announced that he would leave Hori to pursue a solo career; the band effectively concluded its activities soon thereafter.
