Controversy

In March 2024, Keeho‘s mother, Kim Jenny, was involved in a legal controversy where she was accused of fraud. One of the alleged victims, Park Sang Hyun, claimed that she borrowed money under pretenses, citing her sons’ fame to gain trust.

FNC Entertainment, Keeho’s agency, released a statement clarifying that Keeho had no involvement in his mother’s personal affairs and requested the public to refrain from making unfounded speculations about the artist.

The case underwent investigation, and while it was initially concluded with no charges, it was later reopened due to objections from the victim. Keeho expressed his regret over the situation and emphasized his commitment to responsibly resolving the matter.  

In February 2025, the alleged victim publicly apologized to Keeho for involving him in the controversy, acknowledging that the artist was not connected to the fraudulent activities.
