She made her film debut as Kusum in Srabon Megher Din (1999), directed by Humayun Ahmed, followed by roles in Dui Duari (2000, as Toru), Chandrokotha (2003, as Chandra), Shyamol Chhaya (2004, as Ashalata), and Amar Ache Jol (2008, as Nishat).

She transitioned to directing with TV dramas Osomoye (2014, Eid-Ul-Fitr) and Bibhrom (2014, Eid-Ul-Adha), and directed her only feature film Krishnopokkho (2016), which she also contributed to musically.
