Ibn Young better know as Playa Fly was born on September 2, 1977, in the South Parkway neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee.
He spent much of his childhood in the care of his grandmother, Minnie Mae, while his father, musician Willie David Young (known as Bill Chill), pursued his own recording career.
