Vanya Dmitrienko was born on 25 October 2005 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

From childhood he studied vocals with a teacher and also received theatre training (in a children’s theatre), which helped him develop stage presence.

His father was a musician, and that may have influenced his early interest in music.

After his parents divorced (around age 14), Vanya was primarily raised by his mother.
