Raquel Bigorra was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, on 15 June 1974, to Antonio Bigorra Pérez and Rebeca Pérez. She grew up in a middle-class family and showed an early passion for performing arts and literature.
At age 14, she began modelling in Cuba, appearing in small commercials and print campaigns before moving into television.

She studied Spanish and Literature at a local Cuban university before relocating to Mexico, where she trained at Centro de Educación Artística (CEA), Televisa’s prestigious performing arts academy.
