Early Life and education

Kenneth Taylor is now 23. He was born on 16 May 2002 in Alkmaar in the Netherlands. At a young age he played for a local amateur club, SV De Foresters, before joining Ajax’s youth system in 2010 when he was about eight years old.

He progressed through all the youth ranks at Ajax, representing, for example, their under-17 side and youth teams, before making his professional breakthrough.

Taylor came through Ajax’s youth academy, having joined in 2010. He made his debut for Jong Ajax (the reserve team) in the Eerste Divisie on 15 October 2018. He made his Eredivisie debut for Ajax’s first team on 12 December 2020, coming on as a substitute against PEC Zwolle. His first league goal came during the 2021-22 season, scoring soon after coming on in a match versus Heracles Almelo.
