Borromeo met Pierre Casiraghi at university in Milan and they announced their engagement in 2014.
The couple wed in a civil ceremony on 25 July 2015 in the gardens of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco and held a religious celebration on 1 August 2015 on Isola Bella, Italy.
They have since welcomed two sons, Stefano and Francesco, and divide their time between Monaco and Milan, where Borromeo remains active in journalism and philanthropy.
