Peja Stojaković began professionally with Red Star Belgrade and later PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece. Drafted 14th overall by the Sacramento Kings in 1996, he debuted in the NBA in 1998–99 and became a star with the Kings, leading the league in three-point shooting and earning All-Star selections.
He later won championships with the Miami Heat (2012) and San Antonio Spurs (2014). Internationally, he led Yugoslavia/Serbia to multiple medals, including gold at the 2002 FIBA World Championship. After retiring in 2013, he served as the General Manager of the New Orleans Pelicans from 2015 to 2020.
