Vidisha Srivastava was born on 28 April 1986 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, to Meena Srivastava and Mr. Srivastava.

She has an older brother named Gaurav Srivastava and a younger sister, Shanvi Srivastava, who is a prominent actress in Telugu cinema.

Srivastava spent her childhood in Varanasi, where she completed her primary education.

She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology and also completed a professional course in Business Management before starting her career in entertainment.

She made her film debut at age 19 with the Telugu film Abhimani (2005), followed by Maa Iddari Madhya (2006) where she played Shivani, a girl mourning her lover’s death.
