The Nigerian Naira kept gaining ground against the US Dollar in the parallel market this morning. According to Aboki Forex, one US Dollar is currently buying at around ₦1,370 and selling at ₦1,385 on the street.

Across major cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, most Bureau De Change operators and dealers are quoting between ₦1,380 and ₦1,400, depending on the volume and exact location, with the tighter range of ₦1,370–₦1,385 being the most commonly reported level right now.

The official Central Bank window has been trading very close, recently around ₦1,347 to ₦1,348 per dollar, so the gap between the two markets has shrunk to just a few percent. This is one of the narrowest spreads seen in recent months.

The continued appreciation is linked to greater dollar supply entering the system, recent policy adjustments that have given BDCs more access to forex, and an overall market sentiment turning more positive. Just a few days back, the parallel rate was still sitting comfortably above ₦1,420 in many places.

Parallel market rates move quickly and can differ slightly from one dealer to another, so checking directly with a trusted local exchanger or refreshing Aboki Forex gives the most accurate live figure at any moment. These numbers are only indicative and for information purposes only.
