She has won numerous awards and featured in many series and movies since her debut in 1986.

She is known for playing Nandi Sibiya from day one until 2012 on Zone 14.

Early Life

Nandi Nyembe was born in Kliptown, Johannesburg, in 1950.

She witnessed the apartheid period and was able to pass across her experience during that period through some acting roles he featured.

She said she was denied many things because Nandi Nyembe was black, and her family could not provide for their immediate needs when she was growing up.

Nandi Nyembe has also been a cast member on several television shows, including Mzansi Magic’s Isithunzi, Isibaya and The Road for two seasons. In 2016, she was cast in the e.tv drama series, Ashes to Ashes. In 2017, Nandi Nyembe joined the cast of Mzansi Magic Isithembiso Dolly.

The exact of the interview reads: “I was sick, and my mother had to take me to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. At some point, doctors had to test my urine, and surprisingly it came out with soil, but there was nothing wrong with me.”
