Hera Hilmar, born with the full name Hera Hilmarsdóttir is the daughter of a prominent film director named Hilmar Oddsson and famous actress Thorey Sigthorsdottir.

She was born on 27 December 1988 in the occupied city of Reykjavík in Iceland.
