Career

KL Rahul started his international cricket career in 2014. He played his first Test match against Australia on Boxing Day in Melbourne. Two years later, in 2016, he made his One-Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe.

In that match, he scored his first century. He hit a six on the last ball to reach 100 runs off 94 balls. This was the only six of the entire game.

Rahul is special because he is the first Indian cricketer to score a century in his first ODI. He also played his first T20 International during that same tour.
