Chou Tzu-yu is a Taiwanese singer born on June 14, 1999, in the East District of Tainan, Taiwan. She is the daughter of Chou Yi-cheng and Huang Yen-ling, successful entrepreneurs who manage a night market business and plastic surgery clinics, with her mother also operating well-known cafés in Taiwan.
