Viktor Dundych was born on August 15, 1993, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to a family of Russian descent. At age three, he relocated with his parents to Kladno, Czech Republic, where he spent his formative years.

Under the name Charles Sheen, he released his debut mixtape Pod Porches in 2010, followed by Sektor 5 (2012) and Winning (2013), with the hit “Kush s ní” gaining early attention.

He also joined Da Staffers (DSTFRS), releasing the EP “Vlci” in 2013 under PVP Label (later renamed Blackwood Records). In 2014, he adopted his real name, Viktor Sheen, and released the EP Level Up, collaborating with Renne Dang and Sharlota.  

His breakthrough came with the 2015 collaborative album Projekt Asia, featuring Renne Dang, which reflected their Kazakh and Vietnamese heritage. After leaving Blackwood in 2017, he released his debut solo album Jungler, followed by Grál (2018) with Jickson.

His 2019 album Černobílej svět, featuring the hit “Až na měsíc” with Calin, Hasan, and Nik Tendo, became the best-selling Czech album of the year, earning a platinum certification. Barvy (2020) set streaming records, hitting 1 million streams in 20 hours, and Příběhy a sny (2021) topped charts for 13 weeks, with “Stíny” as a standout single.  

In 2023, Sheen collaborated with Calin on Roadtrip, the best-selling Czech album of the year, featuring the hit “Safír” with over 40 million Spotify streams.

That same year, Planeta Topic, announced during a sold-out O2 Arena show, debuted as Spotify’s ninth-best global album, with tracks like “Dopamin” and “Království” dominating charts.

His 2024 album, Impostor Syndrome, released on November 8, 2024, explores self-doubt and success, earning three Anděl Award nominations.
