Rifka Lodeizen (born October 16, 1972) is a skilled actress and model from the Netherlands. She started her career as a model at the age of 16. 

After a few years in the industry, she focused on her true passion: acting. She then studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.

Rifka Lodeizen was born in Amsterdam, North Holland, on October 16th, 1972. She is the daughter of a well-known Dutch artist named Frank Lodeizen.

She was given the name Rifke when she was born, but she chose Rifka, the name of her father’s sister, when she became a teenager. Her paternal grandmother was a strong Jewish believer.

Her mother was called Conny M. Lodeizen-Veenema, and Rifka Lodeizen was raised alongside her three siblings named Noa Lodeizen, Ruben Lodeizen, and Benjamin Lodeizen.

Career

Rifka Lodeizen made her first acting debut in the 1991 film titled The Province, although she was given a minor role. While on set, Eddy Terstall, a film director, spotted her and cast her in his 1996 film titled Hufters & Hofdames.

She was also awarded a Golden Calf for Best Actress at the 2009 Netherlands Film Festival for the remarkable role she portrayed in an Esther Rots film titled Can Go Through Skin.

Afterward, Rifka Lodeizen won the Golden Calf Award for Best Actress in a Television Drama in 2012 for her work in Frank Ketelaar‘s television series titled Overspel. 

Later, In 2019, she was nominated for this award for her role in the television series titled Judas. She was also nominated for a Golden Calf Award for her work in Tonio in 2016 and Disappearance in 2017.
