Early Life & Education

Born in Dublin, Ireland, to an Irish mother and Italian father, young Lisa Hogan took an interest in acting early on. She was born on the 28th Of May in 1972. Her father is named Maurice Hogan, while her mother is Arlene Underwood. She also has a sister named Aoibhne Hogan, while her stepfather is named Raymond Keaveney.

Her high school drama teacher encouraged her to apply for a scholarship to a prestigious drama program located outside London. In 1996 at 18 years old, she was accepted into London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). 

During her first year at RADA, Lisa Hogan worked as a receptionist during summer break and helped pay her tuition. That same year she booked two roles in independent movies back home in Ireland, which led to more work opportunities after graduation.
