Robert Boyd Holbrook is now 44 years old and was born on 1 September 1981 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to Don and Ellen Holbrook. He grew up alongside his older sister Delora in a small Appalachian town.
After high school, he moved to New York City, where he studied acting at the William Esper Studio’s two-year Meisner Program and undertook a two-year voice and speech course at Shane Ann Younts’ performing arts theatre.
