Shiny Doshi was born on September 15, 1989, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, into a Gujarati family. Her father, an agricultural scientist, passed away from a heart attack during the Amarnath Yatra in 2019, and her mother supported her acting ambitions.

Raised with a younger brother, Doshi faced financial and emotional challenges after her father left the family when she was young, forcing her to work early to support her mother and brother.
