Angus Turner Jones (born October 8, 1993), addressed as Angus T. Jones, is a seasoned American former actor and TV personality. 

He is best known for his role as Jake Harper in the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men, for which he was nominated for four Young Artist Awards.

In 2012, Angus T. Jones announced that he was leaving Two and a Half Men, and in 2013, he officially retired from acting. He has since become a member of the Church of Scientology.

Angus T. Jones was born in Austin, Texas, on October 8th, 1993. He was born to Carey Lynn Claypool (mother) and Kelly Jones (father) in the United States. 

He has a younger brother named Otto Jones. He graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder. Angus T. Jones enrolled at the University after leaving the Two and a Half Men scene.

Carey Lynn Claypool and Kelly Jones were allegedly well-known to law enforcement authorities in their former home of Travis County, Texas, before they moved to LA. 

Carey Lynn Claypool and Kelly Jones were arrested on an assault charge after he allegedly pulled her out of a car and pushed her to the ground. Carey Lynn Claypool was arrested the same year on a burglary charge, which was later dismissed ‘pending further investigation.’

Angus T. Jones played Jake Harper, the “half-man,” a 10-year-old living with his divorced father (played by Jon Cryer) and hedonistic uncle, in the 2003 sitcom Two and a Half Men. With an average audience of roughly 15 million viewers, the program was the most-watched sitcom in the US for most of its run.

In 2010, Angus T. Jones became the highest-paid child star in television at the age of 17 when his new contract with Two and a Half Men guaranteed him US$7.8 million over the next two seasons, amounting to US$300,000 for each of the 26 episodes.

Angus T. Jones‘ character Jake had more mature storylines during the program’s ninth season, which aired from 2011 to 2012. He was shown to be a heavy marijuana user and engage in sexual activity with young girls and older women.

Season 9’s last episode features Jake‘s high school graduation and enlistment in the military. Angus T.
