Arjun Gupta was born on November 28, 1986, in Tampa, Florida, to Indian immigrant parents Lalit Gupta (known locally as Al) and Anubha Gupta (known as Annie). He has one sister, Vaani Gupta.
He attended Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, where he performed in several school plays, before moving to New York to study at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
