Early Life and Education
Davis Mallory was born on August 10, 1983, in Marietta, Georgia, and was raised by Mr and Mrs Davis in the Atlanta area.
But his mother chose for him to use Davis so that he could be distinguished from the other men in his family who carried the name James.
He grew up in a strongly musical family, and his mother encouraged him to sing in a children’s church choir. After college, he continued developing his interest in entertainment and music.
He later studied DJing and audio production at Dubspot School of Electronic Music in New York City before pursuing professional work in music and media.
Career
Davis Mallory entered the entertainment industry after graduating from Stetson University, when he was cast on MTV’s The Real World: Denver. He subsequently competed on The Challenge, appearing on The Inferno III, The Duel II, and Rivals.
In 2013, Mallory moved to Nashville to concentrate on songwriting and recording. He released his debut EP Loud in 2017 and subsequently collaborated with international DJs and producers.
