Early Life and education

Garik Papoyan, who is now at the age of 41, was born on September 20, 1984, in Leninakan (now Gyumri), in the Armenian SSR of the Soviet Union. He is the son of Yurii Papoyan. He grew up in Gyumri, Armenia.

He attended No. 196 secondary school in Yerevan. For his higher education, he attended the Russian-Armenian University, enrolling in the Faculty of Tourism and Advertisement in 2001 and graduating in 2008 with a degree from that department.
