Gray O’Brien was born on August 11, 1968 in Glasgow, Scotland. He is the second youngest of seven children born to Eddie O’Brien, a joiner, and Anne O’Brien, a postwoman.
The family initially lived in Drumchapel before moving to Stewarton in Ayrshire when he was three.
