Guz Khan was born on 24 January 1986 in Coventry, Warwickshire, England, to Pakistani Punjabi Muslim immigrant parents, Mr. and Mrs. Khan.
His father died when he was three years old, and his mother raised him along with two older sisters in the Hillfields area of Coventry.
He attended Stoke Park School and later graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Guz Khan began creating comedy content online in 2014 by uploading short videos to Facebook under the name Guzzy Bear.
