Guz Khan was born on 24 January 1986 in Coventry, Warwickshire, England, to Pakistani Punjabi Muslim immigrant parents, Mr. and Mrs. Khan.
His father died when he was three years old, and his mother raised him along with two older sisters in the Hillfields area of Coventry.
He attended Stoke Park School and later graduated from Coventry University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Guz Khan began creating comedy content online in 2014 by uploading short videos to Facebook under the name Guzzy Bear.
One of his early sketches featuring the character Mobeen went viral, particularly a satirical reaction to a scene in Jurassic World.
He made his first stage appearance that same year, opening for Aamer Rahman, and soon quit teaching to pursue comedy full-time.
