Howie Dorough was born on August 22, 1973, in Orlando, Florida, to Hoke Dwaine Dorough and Paula Flores-Dorough. His mother is of Puerto Rican heritage, while his father had Irish and English ancestry.
He was the fifth and youngest child in the family and grew up alongside his siblings, Pollyanna Dorough, John Dorough, Caroline Dorough-Cochran, Angie Dorough.
