Jonathan Kasdan was born on September 30, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of filmmaker and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan and writer Meg Kasdan. He grew up alongside his older brother, Jake Kasdan, who also became a successful director, screenwriter, producer and actor.
