He studied computer science at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde but left to pursue acting. He later earned degrees in mass communication and biblical studies. His religion is Evangelical Christian.
Career
Joross Gamboa launched his career in 2004 as the second runner-up in the first season of Star Circle Quest. He joined ABS-CBN’s Star Magic and appeared in comedy segments and dramas before moving between networks including GMA and TV5 as a freelance artist.
He is recognized for supporting and comedic roles in hit projects such as Hello, Love, Goodbye and its 2024 sequel, Rewind, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, and FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
