Kyle Hebert was born on 14 June 1969 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to parents Henry Joseph Hebert Jr., an information technology specialist, and Sharone Hebert, a legal secretary.
He has a brother named Brandon. The family later relocated to the Dallas, Texas, area, where he spent much of his youth.
He attended the University of North Texas and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film. He is of American origin with Louisiana roots, and he is Christian.
Career
Kyle Hebert began his professional path in radio during the mid-1990s. After working various formats, he joined Radio Disney as a disc jockey under the on-air name Squeege, entertaining young audiences with character voices until 2005.
Inspired by legendary voice artist Mel Blanc and supported by mentor Steve Blum, he moved from Texas to Los Angeles to pursue voice acting full-time.
His breakthrough came at Funimation as teenage Gohan (and later adult Gohan) and the Narrator in the English dub of Dragon Ball Z, roles he has continued across the franchise, including Super and feature films.
