Mawaan Rizwan was born on 18 August 1992 in Lahore, Pakistan, to Mr Rizwan and Shahnaz Rizwan, a former child actress in Pakistani films. The family emigrated to London in 1994 when he was a young child, settling in Ilford, east London.
