Michael Richard Jai White, now at the age of 57, was born on November 10, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York. As a teenager, he moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut, and graduated from Central High School in 1988. Before pursuing acting, he spent three years teaching middle school special education to students with behavioral problems.
