Nat Zang was born on 4 March 1996 in Seattle, Washington, to parents referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Zang.
He grew up as the middle child of three siblings in a creative household that included Ethan Zang. From a young age, he staged plays with friends in his grandparents’ garage and local parks, making his professional stage debut at age 12 at Seattle’s ACT Theatre.

He appeared in all 65 episodes across five seasons (2014–2018), playing the quiet, skilled young sharpshooter who keeps a running count of zombies killed.
The role made him a fan favourite and marked his first major television credit. He also appeared on AfterBuzz TV’s Z Nation After Show.
After the series ended, Zang moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue further opportunities. He co-founded MountainBrook Productions, focusing on independent projects and equitable pay for artists. In the horror film Mile 666, he starred as Achilles while also serving as producer and sound designer.
