Although he had no established acting career at the time, he accepted the leading role of Polat Alemdar. The series premiered in 2003 and turned him into one of Turkey’s most recognizable television actors.
He subsequently reprised Polat Alemdar in Kurtlar Vadisi Irak, Kurtlar Vadisi Filistin, and Kurtlar Vadisi Vatan. From 2007 to 2016, he starred in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu while also taking producer and creative responsibilities.
He later worked as a screenwriter and producer on Kara Kutu and Nöbet. In 2022, he also discussed his interest in music and plans to release songs he had written.
