Nyambi Nyambi Jr. was born on 26 April 1979 in Norman, Oklahoma, to Mr. and Mrs. Nyamb, Nigerian immigrant parents.
He was raised in several parts of the United States, including Texas and Virginia, and attended Oakton High School in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Nyambi attended Bucknell University on a basketball scholarship, graduating in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
He played four years of Division I basketball as a guard and was recognized by ESPN’s Dick Vitale’s “All-Name Team.”
During his final year at Bucknell, he discovered acting and subsequently pursued graduate training at New York University’s Graduate Acting Program, where he earned an MFA in Acting.
