His breakthrough came with “O Grande Kilapy” (2012), directed by Zezé Gamboa, where he starred alongside Brazilian actor Lázaro Ramos. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and earned critical acclaim for its portrayal of post-colonial Angola.
