Phoenix Raei was born on October 28, 1990, in Shiraz, Iran. Brought up by his parents Mr. Raei and Mrs. Raei who followed the Bahá’í Faith and faced persecution, leading the family to flee to Turkey before gaining refugee status and settling in Perth, Australia in 1999.
