Raj Singh Arora was born on 26 September 1984 in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, India, to father Inderjit Arora and mother Shashi Arora. He has a sister named Anjalika Singh.

Arora completed his schooling at Lawrence School, Lovedale, and went on to study law at Symbiosis Law College in Pune, earning a law degree before shifting his career path toward media and entertainment.

Raj Singh Arora began his career as a video jockey (VJ) producing music videos before transitioning to acting.

He made his acting debut in 2004 with the popular teen series Remix on STAR One, where he played Yuvraj “Yuvi” Dev, a role that brought him initial recognition among young audiences.
