Renato Góes was born on December 19, 1986, in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. He began working in modeling and appearing in commercial and visual media at a very young age—reportedly starting at age four—with photo shoots and minor roles in regional commercials.

As a teenager, he did more work in commercials and small figurations, until around age 15 when he decided to shift toward acting proper.
